This workshop will focus on supporting your children’s speech and language development while at home during a pandemic. Tamara Muhler will provide helpful tips for parents of multiples ages 1-7, teach you how to build and monitor speech and language skills during daily activities and routines with your children. She will also discuss what skills to expect at various ages and when it's time to seek outside help.

Speech-language pathologist Tamara Muhler is the director of Word Works. She has worked with Bay Area families for over 20 years. Tamara will share ideas on how to stay engaged with your children and monitor their articulation and language skills to keep learning going at home. She will discuss developmental norms and age-level expectations. Tamara is available to answer questions about when and where to seek help if you have any concerns. She will identify some “red flags” to look for and how to seek an evaluation or services. This session should help parents with multiples learn how to best meet their children’s speech and language needs while home together during this unprecedented time.
